Lijian remote toxic and harmful gas detection equipment for hazardous chemicals showcased at the National Advanced Technology and Equipment Exhibition for Hazardous Chemical Rescue

2023-9-18

The 3rd National Hazardous Chemicals Safety Production Emergency Rescue Technology Competition will be held from September 8th to 11th, 2023 at Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base in Ningxia. This competition is jointly organized by the Ministry of Emergency Management, the All China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, and the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is the first national emergency rescue technology competition for hazardous chemical safety production held by the Ministry of Emergency Management since its establishment. 30 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as relevant central enterprises, dispatched representative teams to participate in the competition. During the competition, an exhibition of advanced technology and equipment for hazardous chemical rescue was held.

Anhui Lijian Defense Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to organize the exhibition of self-developed remote toxic and harmful gas detection equipment for hazardous chemicals. Our technical supervisor Dr. Liu Ziyang presented and introduced the equipment, our hazardous gas telemetry series products, as well as their application and solutions in the field of hazardous chemical rescue on site, which received active attention from the participating representatives and exhibition visitors.

In October 2022, Anhui Lijian Defense Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid for the research and development project of safety production emergency rescue technology equipment from the National Safety Production Emergency Rescue Center. The project aims to develop remote toxic and harmful gas detection equipment for hazardous chemicals, in order to solve the problem of fire, explosion and poisoning accidents caused by the inability to timely identify the nature of unknown toxic and harmful gas (liquid) leakage in the handling of hazardous chemical accidents, improper or untimely handling, which seriously endangers the lives and property safety of on-site emergency rescue personnel and the people.
As an advanced independent developer of high-performance infrared spectroscopy intelligent detection equipment in China, Anhui Lijian Defense Technology Co., Ltd. has carefully studied the task requirements and development goals, fully utilized its previous technical accumulation and product development and application experience, actively arranged and implemented funds, personnel, and venues, and after careful organization and scientific implementation, completed the research work ahead of schedule in August 2023 and developed remote toxic and harmful gas detection equipment for hazardous chemicals.
The equipment adopts passive Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy remote sensing detection technology, which has reached the international advanced level. It can automatically and quantitatively detect and identify various toxic and harmful gases, flammable and explosive gases, and polluting gases in a non-contact and large-scale manner. It is fully automatic video/spectral imaging monitoring 24 hours a day and night, with real-time warning. The data+image+video comprehensive and intuitive display of gas dynamic distribution and diffusion trends enables rapid traceability and positioning. Realize remote detection and analysis of the composition, properties, and quantities of toxic and harmful gases in the air at the accident site, generate detection results in a timely manner, and synchronously transmit data information to the on-site command center (command and control center), providing data support for emergency response decisions.
The successful development of remote toxic and harmful gas detection equipment for hazardous chemicals provides an advanced new technological means for China's hazardous chemical supervision, accident prevention and early warning, monitoring, and disposal rescue. It helps to build an independent and controllable three-dimensional hazardous chemical monitoring, protection, and early warning system, thereby enhancing China's hazardous chemical safety management, risk control, and disposal capabilities.
